ShadowClan

ShadowClan is a group of cats who once lived in a pine forest, but were recently expelled after a volcanic eruption. Their territory is no longer habitable, and the survivors have scattered. A sizeable portion of the refugees have taken up residence in RiverClan. Their oldest known leaders were Chickadeestar and Shrikestar.

Basic Description

ShadowClan cats have always been known for their strong moral code and their eye for the poetic. During times of strife the Clans have traditionally united, appealing to others' base sense of morality. While WindClan is the most communicative and ThunderClan is the closest in proximity to StarClan, ShadowClan bows most firmly to their word and the letter of the Warrior Code. ShadowClan is nocturnal, doing most of their work in the light of the moon rather than during dawn or dusk. The Clan's main prey (prior to the eruption) were mice, squirrels, and voles.

Stereotype

ShadowClan cats are generally average in build with grayscale fur; they are also known for having pointed warriors as well. They tend to value tradition, poetry, and peace, but can be naive, uncritical, and childlike.
