Welcome

OOC Rules

  • You must be 18+ to register.
  • You must join our Discord.
    • Our Discord functions as a central hub for all events, activities, notifications, and announcements.
  • You must use (and respect) content warnings.
    • To ensure the comfort and safety of all our members, we encourage you to use your judgment and use content warnings in your posts or thread titles as necessary.
      • To place a content warning in a post, you can type <cw>CW: BODY HORROR</cw> either at the start of the post or immediately before the content requiring a warning. The site will automatically format this text to be centered, red, and bold.
      • To place a content warning tag in a title, include the warning in brackets after your title. For example, your thread could be named Fun Thread Title [gore]. The site will automatically append a red content tag to the title using whatever terms you indicate.
    • On each member's profile, there is an "About the Author" section where it can be useful to indicate any hard limits or trigger warnings you may have concerning roleplay. Additionally, you can place requests for content warnings in the #cw-request channel on Discord.
  • You must be respectful.
    • [explain? - respect + kindness towards other members! we want people to feel safe here. you can privately let staff know if another member's conduct is making you uncomfortable]

IC Rules

  • You must respect our site rating.
    • Our site follows a 3-3-3 [1] RPG rating, meaning that:
      • Swearing and mature language are permitted.
      • Sexual content is permitted.
      • Explicit violence is permitted.
      • Content warnings are always required for explicit violence and sexual content.
  • You must write 150 words per post.
    • There is no minimum wordcount for events such as clan meetings. Exceptions may also be made for tasks and expeditions.
  • You must respect our banned content.
    • do we even care anymore

Thanks for reading the rules! We hope you have fun!

Bio Rules

  • We require 200 words minimum for biographies.
    • This is 200 words combined for the history and personality sections. You may split up the minimum words as you desire (i.e. 150 words for history, 50 words for personality.) There is no minimum word count for characters under 6 moons.
  • We do not allow characters with backgrounds that primarily focus on overt sexism and homophobia.
    • While we understand that it may be cathartic for some to explore such themes, it isn't something we're interested in seeing in our world at this time.
    • The only exception we are currently allowing is the history of matriarchal leadership in RiverClan.
  • Please review our site history.
    • We do not expect you to follow the existing timeline exactly, but we ask that you take the site's history and historical figures into consideration when you're creating your character. This includes major events, the existing politics and the characterization of historical high ranks.
    • For example, you're making a RiverClan character and your character's brother is exiled for injuring a clanmate. This would, in reality, be very unlikely and out of character of the leader at the time. Skuastar was historically a respected but difficult leader who valued personal strength and conviction over morality. She would likely congratulate your character's brother on his victory. Instead, consider upping the stakes: your brother actually killed a beloved member of Skuastar's harem and before she can take her revenge, he flees from RiverClan!
    • We also encourage filling in the blanks on the site timeline. If there's a period of history where nothing has happened in a clan... make something up! Feel free to ask staff if you have any questions or concerns.
