WindClan

WindClan is a clan made up of cats who reside in the city. The city was largely abandoned by twolegs shortly before ShadowClan's mountain erupted. During the earthquakes, one of WindClan's outposts, Burrow Rat, was trapped underground and isolated.
Their oldest known leader was Molestar.

Windclan/Historical High Ranks

Basic Description

Historically, WindClan cats were typically lithe and slender, with muted colors. Upon their arrival to the city, however, WindClan found themselves intermingling with loners and kittypets, and have now found themselves with a varied array of characteristics. WindClan cats are known to be resourceful and street smart with a cunning streak, but they can also be two-faced, and political squabbles between outposts are not uncommon.

Roughly 180 moons ago, WindClan found themselves chased from their territory by RiverClan. Rather than stay and fight a losing battle, WindClan moved on, and eventually found themselves in the city. Now, WindClanners are known for being innovative and street smart, having split themselves into smaller groups known as outposts, each run by a Manager. In the past, WindClanners would ride the train (colloquially known as centipedes, though the terms are used interchangeably) to bridge the distance between outposts. As of the twolegs' evacuation, however, travel has become more difficult, oftentimes requiring a full day of travel between each outpost.

WindClan cats are generally unafraid of humans, and have acclimated to their new home such to the point that creative parents will name their kits after interesting twoleg objects found around the city. The clan's unique diet is made up of city rats, pigeons, and scraps from humans.

Outpost Creation

160 moons ago, Burrow Rat created 147 moons ago, Burrow Rat splits, creating Terminal Fox 120 moons ago, Burrow Rat holds their first election for Outpost manager. This is successful and becomes tradition

The Curse

Inkstar and Gypsumflame cast a curse on RiverClan. The next day ShadowClan's volcano erupts. Quiltedheart is demoted.
