Following their move to the city many moons ago, WindClan began separating itself into smaller groups across the city. While WindClan as a whole still operates under a single StarClan-approved leader, each group, known as an outpost, is run by a manager who oversees their outpost's operations. Managers are inferior to the leader and deputy's rank when they are present. In the past, outpost managers were chosen by WindClan's leader, but in modern times they are democratically chosen by their outpost.

Outposts do not always agree or see eye to eye, and political squabbles are not uncommon. Cats are often loyal to their outpost first and foremost, and only align themselves with WindClan as a whole second.

Warren Bear

Located in the city's Historical District, residing in a two-story shopping mall.

The heart of WindClan, the largest and the most well-defended outpost. The leader, deputy, and medicine cats reside here. Oftentimes, pregnant queens will move to Warren Bear, where their kits will be raised until their apprenticeship, at which point they will be assigned an outpost for training based on suitability, and will occasionally be shuffled between outposts and mentors early into their apprenticeship. Elders are offered the opportunity to move to Warren Bear, though most often they will reside in their outpost until their death.

Warren Bear is the only Outpost that is not run by a manager, and defers to the leader and deputy directly.

Terminal Fox

Located in the city's entertainment district, currently residing in an abandoned diner. Historically, Terminal Fox would often relocate their base of operations as new buildings were constructed, or old ones were torn down.

The youngest of WindClan's three outposts, Terminal Fox had split off from Burrow Rat many years ago. Terminal Fox has eyes everywhere, keeping an eye on things happening in the city. They're known to be chummy with twolegs, moreso than other outposts, and in the past, enjoyed to frequent the Pink Pussy Cat, a strip club in which the dancers were easily charmed into feeding them. Terminal Fox is the most lax in regards to their relationship with strays, some of whom are even known to report back to Terminal Fox's outpost in particular.

Terminal Fox's current manager is Chimesong.

Burrow Rat

Located in the Train Graveyard. Following catastrophic earthquakes, it is cut off from the rest of the clan and the world above. To those who reside aboveground, these cats' fates are unknown.

Burrow Rat is the clan's oldest outpost, and, in the beginning, they were tasked with exploration and scavenging. Burrow Rat cats are often stereotyped as the outcasts, unlikable weirdos who don't belong anywhere else. This is hardly the case, as their skillsets simply lie elsewhere, best suited for manual labor. However, it's not unheard of for a cat to be relocated to Burrow Rat when they're found to be unsuited for their current outpost.

Burrow Rat's current manager is Candlefox
